If you haven’t gathered so far, Dripping Springs is known for two things: its majestic and accessible outdoor spaces and its craft distilleries and breweries. If you’re a liquor connoisseur, go on a tour and have a taste at the notable Deep Eddy Vodka Distillery and Tasting Room or Treaty Oak Distilling. For all you beer fans, swing by breweries like Twisted X.

For a breath of fresh air and a splash below the surface, plan a trip to the 234-acre nature preserve, Hamilton Pool Preserve. It’s one of the best swimming holes in Texas where you can wander through trails to see wildlife or spread out with a picnic blanket at the beach area. Founders Memorial Park has a Junior Olympic-sized pool, playscape, soccer fields, jogging trail, and picnic facilities. Ready for a real night of fun? Head to Mercer Street Dance Hall with your dancing shoes.
